Writing has been my biggest passion for as long as I can remember. I was first drawn to writing stories when I was little, then as I tried poetry, it became an emotional outlet used to help me understand my experiences.
I always felt I could better express myself on a page, which allows for more thought before communicating, as speaking off the top of my head feels like exposing a rough draft!
When I have a character come to mind, it feels like they really exist and I’m just recording their story, like I am holding all that they feel before even exploring their history and their future.
Lately, I have been incorporating more themes of faith in my writing, which is what makes me feel at my most-connected in my relationship with God.
I hope to share more of what I’m working on!
