Hi reader! My name is Sheriden Adair, I am currently a student at East Central University majoring in History. After graduation I plan to pursue a career in public history/museum management. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, crocheting, and of course, reading, writing, and watching movies. I have always had a passion for history, and my love for literature blossomed through that when I discovered historical fiction in elementary school and was finally able to enjoy reading. Some of my favorite books are The Help, Fahrenheit 451, Jane Eyre, and childhood favorites such as Anne of Green Gables, Little House on the Prairie, and Harry Potter. I owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to these authors who allowed me to be myself and dream big as I escaped into the worlds of their brilliant minds.

My passion for writing bloomed somewhere along the way and gave me a way to truly express myself that my introverted personality never would allow. And since then, writing has been my safe haven. But, I owe my gratitude mostly to incredible individuals who saw my potential when I could not. My high school English teachers, Mrs. Byrd and Mrs. Bryant gave me the encouragement that I needed to keep writing. My freshman Composition professor, Christopher York inspired, mentored, and pushed me even when the words wouldn’t flow. And most importantly my Lord who has blessed me with such ability and opportunities that I hope to not dissipate. I have such gratitude to these people and hope to make them proud even through my humble works few people will ever read.
