Newsletter 1/30/2026

Hello, Everyone!

This is the first of what will hopefully be many newsletters. My plan with these is to keep all of our subscribers informed on my goings ons, my plans, and the new releases on Forwritten.

I would first like to give thanks to all of the authors that have shared their work on Forwritten so far, I appreciate every single one of you and all that you’ve provided for Forwritten.

My plan is to start posting more frequently on social media within the next few weeks to drum up more interaction. So feel free to follow or subscribe to Forwritten’s various accounts so you can see what I come up with.

Forwritten has added a lovely poem by Iris Aloe called ‘Why Are You Flirting With Me?’ which is a very expressive poem about a situation I think a lot of people find themselves in: wanting someone to leave you alone and they won’t stop harassing you. So if you relate to that feeling at all, go check her poem out.

Along with this we’ve also gotten a new novel, ‘Sage’ by Rachael Van Horn, which is a drama story about a disgraced former sheriff that ends up robbing a bank as a form of revenge. Out of guilt for his actions, he attempts to undo his crime. Definitely worth the read for anybody interested.

While you’re reading these new stories, go ahead and check out Casino Reality by Christopher York. It’s an intriguing short story about a man stuck in an infinite casino, who starts finding parallels between the game he’s playing there and the life he came from.

Or read Visions of Ireland by Will Selph, a neat poem about longing for a homeland that you never actually knew. As someone of Irish descent who has been to Ireland, I definitely relate to feeling a sense of longing when I witnessed the beauty of that country.

That’s all I have for now. I hope everyone is doing well.
